Why do people hate on country music, give me actual REASONS?

Don't say, "It's Lame" or "It's hillbilly"; I was reared in Michigan, my Mom listens to it, her dad listened to it, and we're all from the north. So what I really wanna know is why people seem to hate it so much; most of the new stuff is pop/rock anyway. I want real arguments.
