If Pats win Superbowl I win $2k. Would you bet $1k on Gmen to cover? Take $1k for chance at $3k ?

I have a wager that if the Patriot's win (no spread - just a win is good) the Superbowl I would win $2k. I am contemplating hedging to take half the $ off the table. Thinking the Giants have a real good chance of covering the spread but also that I believe that if the game is close the Patriot's have proven that they'll win. And a Patriot's win in a close game (ie - Giants cover) = $3k. Any thoughts?
