I am looking at becoming an Avian Veterinarian in the future. Can I take a specialty degree concurrently.....?

The best place to find out would be simply to call the school and ask about their veterinary school tell the operator what you need to know and she can direct you. If you can't get all the info at once keep calling till you get the answer. Who on YA would know the answers to the specialized questions you need to ask? Also ask about admissions. Some vet schools are very popular and you might have to make applications to more than one school. Admissions are not automatic in popular schools.You might be able to handle this on line. I don't know. You can also find out what courses to take at the community college. We have several avian vets in my area . A few are certified but as far I know they all handle most exotics like reptiles and the more usual pets like dogs & cats.
