How bad is birth pain?

describe evrything i wana have a baby but im just afraid i might not be able to take the pain.im so scared and plus i might be hurting too bad or i might not be able to handle my opening up that wide.oh wow i heard about the epidural but what if the epidural is not effective?omg or what if i become paralyzed from the medicine?i dont want to fell that pain and i also want it to go by quick but i might be in labor for 10 hours.please explain how birth pain?will i be screaming and hollering?
