Will Americas media win and convince everyone that the occupation of Iraq is over?

It already HAS convinced everyone that the occupation is over. The real occupation will be over soon, though. The U.S. is going the same way the soviets did. This is typical empire destruction: drain the money supply in a desperate attempt to take over the world.
