Why does everything bad happen to me and my family?

Alright here i go, march 11th 2009 my dad pes away suddenly in the night, leaving me and my mom to fend for our selves, we thought at the time it would have been good to have my sister and her husband to move in with us, little did i know this guy is a drug user/ and alcoholic/ a gambler. We also have horrible money problems even though my mom and my sister work, and have pretty good jobs to. Why? this spends the money on all of the above, and what do i get? squat, i never ask for money, Christmas is coming up and i have just learned my sister has lost her job, due to a federal back ground check saying she is not allowed to work at this nursing home, the charge she has been PARDONED by the State of Florida, so i do not see why she was fired, also since my father has died my neighborhood has become rapid with drug dealers, sbags, and criminals. Why has my life continued on a downward spiral? Yet their are spoiled little brats who don't appreciate the Mercedes their dad gave them. I do live in a pretty nice house, but that came from my fathers doing. Just someone please give me an answer why? Why do bad things happen to good family's?
