Is it possible for their marriage to last?
I would say this is a rebound marriage if anything! You're actually fortunate you broke up because you have your whole life ahead of you. You're now free to date others & this time find the rite one for you. I feel you were rushing things to begin with since he was your only b/f & I think you'll find you'll meet someone who is better suited for you in the long run. I married too young, he was my only b/f, our marriage lasted under 4 yrs. & we had 2 babies. No, we didn't "have" to get married. We just had not gotten dating out of our systems before we got married & didn't marry the rite ones. So even tho you're hurting from all this, honey, I think you'll find you've done the rite thing. There is a special someone out there for you, you just have not met him yet. You WILL meet him & you'll know this time he is the rite one for you. I do not give their marriage a very long chance of making it. If you look at it, they really don't even know one another that well, how can they know for sure they love each other that deeply. Just bide your time, try your best to accept all that's going on & try to put him in your past & leave him there. You're free now & can do whatever you want, go with who you want to & pretty soon you'll find yourself happy again. I'm a firm believer that things happen for reasons regardless if we know why or not. But at some point in time you'll understand why & be glad for it. Just KNOW you'll be OK, know things will turn out the way they were meant to. I've always said, if we do things rite, they turn out rite...the best to you, honey...:)
