How much did your first baby weigh?

I went to the doctor today (I am just shy of 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby) and asked for a guesstimate of how much my doctor thought my baby girl might weigh right now and how much he thinks she will weigh when she is born. The doctor said that my tummy is alllll baby and that she is about 7 lbs right now (average) although he kept saying "she is a good sized baby"..he said it a few times. Then he told me that she will definately be over 7.5 lbs when she is born. I was just wondering how much people's first babies weighed. Mine is a girl so she will weigh less than a boy would weigh. It is still slightly unsettling though that he kept saying "Yeah, she is a good sized baby.." and kept commenting on how she takes up my whole entire abdomin. :) Well, at least she is healthy!
