Can I have a Career in IT/Information Security with a Marijuana Misdeameanor?

I know IT companies are stringent on Background Checks & Criteria.Also,they do Security Clearance.Will 1 misdeameanor prohibit me from getting a job in this field.I need ONLY people who work in the IT Field or Information Security to answer this...P.S.-I do have another misdeameanor but that previous charge was dismissed & expunged...
